See picturesque views of the Moira River from our privately located cottage surrounded by trees and teeming with wildlife. Cast off from the dock or use the canoe or kayak to try your luck at catching fish. Our 4 bedrooms and 2 pullout futons provide enough space for 12 to sleep comfortably. The huge dining table is perfect for hosting dinners or board games. Play a game of pool or ping ping, or take in a movie in the cozy basement entertainment room. Also has central A/C and 2 gas fireplaces.

Welcome to our cottage on Dog Lake, a beautiful and serene lake noted for its fishing, paddling and wild life. Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

Craigsmere At Calabogie Lake

Guests will find a very tastefully appointed two bedroom apartment with private access on the shores of Calabogie Lake. Just about an hour west of Canada's Capital, you'll find plenty of activity in all four seasons. A short ten-minute drive places you at either the Calabogie Racetrack or the Highlands golf course! Only seven minutes to Calabogie Peaks! Cook on your private BBQ on your own deck overlooking the water or choose from a handful of terrific restaurants in the area.

Beautiful Lake Home in South Eastern Ontario

Our house is a wonderful place to enjoy being on a lake. You will be staying in our home where we live with our cat when we do not have airbnb guests. When we have guests, we live in a tiny house in the backyard and are available if needed. There is no landline but cell phone service is good. Internet is sometimes slow. It is not a good fit for large groups who are noisy or families with very energetic children because we have close neighbours who enjoy peace and quiet.

Enjoy exploring, hiking, and canoeing; Cabin Comforts:propane fireplace, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, stove with oven, washroom with composting toilet and vanity with cold running water. Short walk to Calabogie Peaks Ski Hill and golf, deeded access to boat launch and beach, 10 minute drive to Calabogie Motorsports Park, Trails for cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking out the front door.. You’ll love my place because of the surrounding nature and access to the many activites. . My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
