We live in the adjoining hale and offer our private 2 bedroom guest suite with separate entrance, living room, bathroom and simple kitchen with custom lighted "lava" kitchen counter Important: 5th person on booking: If you make a booking for 5 people, the sleeping arrangement is only suitable for children as it is a fold down couch. It is NOT long enough for an adult to sleep straight.

The Laughing Gecko-cozy, quiet Hawaiian retreat!

The Laughing Gecko, a 100% smoke-free property, sits on a peaceful acre near cliffs and black sand beaches on Hawaii's east side. The studio offers a private entrance, king bed, kitchenette, bath, and lanai. Amenities include a washer/dryer, coolers, and beach chairs and beach towels. No A/C, as it's rarely needed. Rooster, chickens, and dogs are on-site.

The property is in an agricultural area of the island, on a gravel road, which gives you an opportunity to have a “Real Hawaii” experience.
