Quirky Rural Retreat - Bourne Farm Oasthouse, Kent

Bourne Farm Oasthouse is surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland. You’ll love the Oast because of the comfy beds, the cozy interior, layout of the main living area, incl the light, the serenity, the solitude. The Oasthouse is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. Pets welcome too. Four Poster in Master Bedroom. Pair Swedish XL twin beds in Bedroom 2 Twin beds on the platform are accessed via ladder (rec 8yrs+ up there) The 2 bathrooms are not en suite but within central roundel.

The Shed of the Setting Sun

Situated at the end of a 50 foot garden, on the edge of marshland, is the shed. It is a prime spot to watch the sun setting, bird watching, meditating or simply relaxing and taking in the outdoors. Access to the house will be available for use of the kitchen and toilet/shower. A seperate entrance with padlocked gate is available, and yale lock on the shed door. A small bbq/utensils will be provided, and a fire pit. (please purchase your own bbq coals and seasoned firewood). 12v solar lights

Comfortable space for four people can accommodate six. One king size bed. Two x 2’6” beds that can be made as a double on request, a 4ft pull out sofa bed in the lounge area. Travel cot/high chair available. Caravan is of Platinum standard (Park Holidays grading). Gated outdoor deck and seating catching the sun all day. Heated indoor swimming pool, steam room/jacuzzi. This historic oak-beamed stable set within the grounds of a former Kent farm, is the perfect base for those wishing for a weekend away or longer to explore the Kent and Sussex countryside. With access to a large garden at the rear with amenities including a firepit, outside dining and seating area, BBQ, Hammock and pond jetty. Use of a large bell tent can also be included for an additional fee.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
