The house in the bush

We offer our former family home in the true original spirit of Air BnB. Our house is not a hotel but we are confident it has everything you need to enjoy a true hospitable Australian experience. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, this home in the bush is the perfect spot from which to enjoy local attractions such as The Territory Wildlife Park, jumping crocodile cruise, Litchfield National Park, Fogg Dam, Mary River Park and is just a two hour drive from Kakadu, or 40 minutes to Darwin.

Riverside Homestead

Located on the banks of Darwin River, you can forget your worries in this spacious and relaxing home set on 30 acres. Swim in the pool, watch the wildlife at the rivers edge, try to hook a million dollar Barra, visit the cows in the paddock or marvel at the amazing backdrop of clear, starlit skies in the dry and dramatic tropical storms in the wet. A great place to visit with friends or family, only 5 minutes to the local pub and shop and close to Berry Springs waterhole and nature park.

Redmond Place

An ideal family getaway for anyone visiting Darwin, this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is located in Durack, just a stone’s throw from gateway shopping centre and the water park. This spacious free-standing home also features a washing machine and dryer as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. Master bed with a queen size bed and ensuite, 2nd room two king singles, 3rd room a queen size bed and the 4th room two singles. During your stay you and your group will have the entire space to yourself.

If you want to head into Palmerston city it's a cruisey 20 minutes drive, or into Darwin city is just 35 minutes.

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful place- whether in the beautiful big gardens or on the 92 square metre outdoor deck or on the large grass area overlooking the dam that is crystal clear with aquatic plants and fish. Please note: there is a lot of native animals that call The Flame Tree their home so sorry no pets and no smoking or vaping please.
