The property is also located in a quiet and safe community, only 8 minutes from Juban crossing. At Juban crossing you will find an assortment of restaurants and stores for your shopping needs. The house itself is spacious and welcoming. You’ll feel like your home even though you are away from home. While you are staying at the property you’ll be met with southern hospitality!

2 bedroom, 1 bath home with 2 queen sized beds, 1 full bathroom, & has 24 hr security cameras—3 minutes away from Juban Crossing Shopping Center and the interstate. 30+ restaurants & stores nearby (including Texas Roadhouse, Movie Tavern, Starbucks, and many more). Both LSU stadium and downtown are only 25 minutes away; New Orleans in an hour away! (The home beside is also available, the second next door but must be booked separately. Check for availability in our listings.)

Enjoy a vintage stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage. Can sleep four with two per bed but better with just two. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Cozy up for the night, week or longer in La Casita and enjoy the the peace and quiet of the country. Enjoy an evening indoors with take out and a movie on free streaming services or “eat out” by making use of the grill, umbrella, table and chairs.
