Tranquil Manitoulin Log House Retreat

Relax and unwind at our unique and tranquil getaway. A private and peaceful log cabin on ten acres in the forest. A place to just relax and unwind. Grill on the barbecue on the patio and enjoy life at a slower pace. Lake Wolsey is a great place to fish, just a ten minutes away. Watch the stars at night while sitting by the fire. Experience the forest changing colour to vivid oranges, reds and yellows. A great time to take a hike, walk or bike through the many adventure trails on the island.

Stone Castle's Lakefront Cabin, Sauna & Hot tub

#GBJ-0003 Come stay on a beautiful acreage (65 acres) beside our stone house set on a hill overlooking a lake on one side and hills of maple, white pines and limestone cliffs on the other. The cozy 1 bedroom sleep cabin with a hot tub, its own bathroom and kitchenette accommodate our airbnb guests. We have gardens, apple trees, chickens, maple forest we tap, the lake for you to swim and play in with canoes and a sauna, as well as trails to walk in to enjoy nature and the abundant wildlife.

This cottage has been renovated with beautiful white-washed walls, full bath, laundry, 3 bedrooms with 4 beds, two decks, private balcony, fully equipped kitchen in, multiple fire pits, 2 kayaks, games, corn hole, hot tub and a wood fired sauna perfectly situated to watch the sunset. The retreat sits on a private 2 acres with over 200' of waterfront on the North Channel of Lake Huron. The sunset views & starry night are incredible!

Camp Mary Anne - The Boathouse

With regards to COVID19, we're are employing a thorough cleaning practice, keeping everyone's safety in mind. This stunning, brand new, and fully furnished you will be hard-pressed to find anything of this caliber on Manitoulin Island. The boathouse features vaulted ceilings and high end amenities. You literally cannot get any closer to the water - you are overhanging it! Worth Noting: The wifi is not strong here. We keep it for out-of-country guests who do not have their own plan.

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Whether you like to play in the water, kayak, fish, or just sit and enjoy the ever changing view you can do it here in comfort. It’s a short drive to town for provisions or golfing, or go exploring, but finish the day with a beach side fire, or a glass of wine at the end of the dock and watch the sun go down across the lake. It’s magical!
