This private, exceptionally clean 2nd story apartment, ideal for 1 person or couple, is just 4 miles from Athens via a single county road. It overlooks a 3-acre pond on 5 acres in a safe and beautiful rural subdivision. With all the amenities you need, including fast wi-fi, it’s a great place to stay if you are visiting OU, attending music festivals or hiking at Hocking Hills, or if you are looking for an inspirational writer’s/artist’s retreat. The Ridge Retreat

The one-bedroom apartment in the basement of our house can host up to 4 people and features a walkout with a hot tub and a porch swing. The apartment has a queen bed, pull out couch, kitchen, closet, bathroom, and desk. We live in rural, Appalachian Ohio on 20 acres. We have fields, woods and a pond for exploring. Our place is about 15 minutes from town; shopping, grocery and restaurants. We are 20-30 minutes from the Hocking Hills State Parks, canoeing, hiking, etc. Certificate #00218

On 77 acres, you will enjoy our 4 ponds, fishing and hiking trails.

The Ohio University Convocation Center is hiking distance, as is the University and downtown Athens. FREE WIFI and FREE parking for up to 4 cars. McDonalds, and other fast food is very close by, as is a hardware store. The house is on the Athens transit route and we have Uber and Lyft. The house is a historic Sears kit house built in 1939 and recently extensively remodeled. We have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for for your use only.

Great and quiet home in beautiful Marietta, within a 10-minute drive to the historical downtown of Marietta. Great for family vacations and visitors, we have everything ready, just enjoy your time in Marietta. In a 5-minute drive, you can get to Lookout Point, where you can have an amazing panoramic view of Marietta, Lookout Park has a basketball and tennis court, and also a playground for kids. All bedrooms are with queen-sized beds.
