Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. Cozy home features warm lighting & paint colors and creative Northwoods decorating with a modern touch. Amenities include high speed internet, stainless appliances, coffee maker, front load washer and dryer, streaming services/Apple TV, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 fireplaces , central AC and a high efficiency furnace. The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

This is it! Our place is a great place for your big family or group to ski, snowmobile or just relax. We offer plenty of room with 5 private bedrooms. We have an area of open space including a living room and kitchen that is MASSIVE. It has 2 fireplaces. A gas fireplace in the living room and if you prefer wood there is a wood one in the kitchen. Time to clean up, we have 3 full bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap. Then a sauna and hot tub to relax. Also a rec room Wi Fi

Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Amazing location! No cleaning fee! This Condo sleeps 4, King bed & Queen sofa sleeper. Full kitchen, balcony, AC, CableTV, WiFi, BBQ and fire pit wood povided. Restaurant, bar and pool in July-Sept.Bayfield is a 2.3 mile hike or bike on the Brownstone Trail. Brookside is 5 minutes from Mt Ashwabay, Big Top, Bayview beach and multiple hiking trails. Ride a ferry ride to Madeline or cruise the Apostles. Sail, fish, kayak, golf, ski. $40 pet fee per stay. 🙂 No smoking allowed.

Gorgeous Northwoods River Retreat

Peaceful country setting with privacy and access to river. Located just 11 miles from shopping and dining and in the midst of prime hunting and fishing locations. Also near ATV and snowmobile trails for our outdoors lovers! NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY OR IN HOUSE! CLEAN UP AFTER PETS OUTSIDE! Please be respectful of the rental and clean up after yourself before check out. Garbage bags can be placed outside of the door or placed in the garbage bin in shed next to house.

Bayfield Rustic Yurt 2 (Terra Cotta)

Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (mountain bike, cross-country ski and hiking). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Superior including; Pike's Bay, four of the Apostle Islands (Madeline, Basswood, Stockton and Michigan) and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

Whitley House

Get away from it all! Step back and enjoy nature at its finest. The Whitley house is furnished with all the essentials plus some and if you have a special request or need we do everything we can to try to accommodate you. 10 mins from Lake Gogebic County Park and many other fishing spots. A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.
