The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

It is beautifully decorated, with space to entertain or relax following a day of exploration. Guests can cosy up with a movie or head to the garden Pavilion for an old-school games night. Alternatively, dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine whilst marvelling at countryside views.

Welcome to Oakland Hut. We love our hut and want you to enjoy your stay! A quiet country hut situated in a private area alongside our family home in Windermere. The hut is crafted with every attention to detail considered, including a kitchen area and shower room, gas central heating, a TV and a double bed all furnished in a very stylish decor.
