The Barefoot Bungalow

A 5 minute hike to this "chickadee cabin" nestled in the larches will give a rewarding view. 160 acres with trails in field and forest. Sample three organic gardens with fruit, berries, herbs, and flowers. Close to Pigeon Lake and golf courses. Back to the basics in the comfort of a rustic cabin. Gospel themed property. Sorsele Hus is a bright, cozy two-bedroom cottage fronting directly onto Pigeon Lake. Built over 80 years ago, it has been lovingly restored to honour its original Swedish owners. The large wrap-around deck with a gas firepit opens onto a lawn next to the beach. There is public green space right next door for tossing a frisbee or kicking a ball around. The cottage is just an hour's drive from Edmonton or within cycling distance for those looking for a bicycle vacation.

Any time of year, Mulhurst Bay Chalet is a wonderful place to stay. Hardwood floors, wood burning stove, 2 full bathrooms. There is a single bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed, and a large loft with a queen bed, and a separate room with a double bed suitable for children. In addition, there are two futons to accommodate additional guests or over-night visitors.
