Perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway, our cabin offers a serene setting surrounded by natural beauty. The cabin features rustic charm combined with modern comforts. Unwind on the porch with a cup of coffee and listen to the sounds of the forest. Enjoy the summer rain falling on the tin roof. *NOTE: This cabin does not yet have a shower.

Located on 60 acres of private property with access to hiking trails throughout the property surrounded by 7,632 acres of Wayne National Forest Wildlife area which includes Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail that borders Burr Oak Lake State Park. Also close to Wolf Creek Wildlife Area, Tecumseh Trails Offroad and Baileys Trail System MTB. AWD/4WD vehicles highly recommended. Necessary in the winter. Our cabin is not suitable for infants/children. *No pets.

Enjoy nature, Walk through the woods or sit by the creek on 10 acres, take a ride with ATV's(ATV cost $100 extra), Hunt for deer (2 deer stands, heavy duty deer hanging rack, deer feeder.), Access down the road to the Muskingum river for canoeing, or boating. Bea Happy Camper Cabin Burr Oak

Our camper cabin is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Just a short walk from Burr Oak Lake dock 3 where you can hike, fish, kayak, launch your boat or simply enjoy the natural landscape. We are surrounded by 600+ acres of state land with several hiking trails and lots of designated hunting areas. Bring all your camping gear (minus the tent) and have the luxury of getting out of the weather in our heated/air-conditioned space with your own full bathroom!

Remington Run~Relaxation/Nature/Hunting/Hiking

A beautiful slice of country living at it's best. Skillfully handcrafted by our local Amish and my husband, our cabin is a cool little place to relax and unwind. Perfect for nearby public hunting, a relaxing retreat, or little adventures. Remington Run is a get away from it all kind of place. Watch the morning sun rise, explore the woods, spot wildlife, or visit nearby recreation land where you can hike, bike, fish, & hunt. We sit on 15 acres.

Sandstone Point is close to McConnelsville restaurants/dining, The Wilds, AEP Recreation Land and has great views. You’ll love the location because of the outdoors space, comfy beds and the ambiance. The home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Come relax in the clean country air, and take in the beautiful sunrise each morning.

The Burrow

Perfect cabin for a secluded getaway, family retreat, or romantic weekend in the middle of the woods at Burr Oak Lake. Located close to dock three with easy access to the lake, as well as hiking throughout the State Park and Wayne National Forest. Lots of activities, restaurants, and shopping in nearby towns. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Nestled in a private cul-de-sac at dock 4 area of Burr Oak State Park. Enjoy fishing , kayaking, boating, public swimming area and archery range. Relax in the evenings around the firepit and BBQ grill area. Close proximity to hiking trails and public hunting. Approximate 20 minute drive to Ohio University and Hocking College.
