Our family-owned house, Bússi, is located in the heart of Iceland's Golden Circle, offering a cozy and comfortable year around retreat to enjoy natural surroundings. The main objective is to provide comfort, warmth and an inviting atmosphere. The house is in a secluded area that provides ideal escape from the city, yet still only an hour's drive away. A new summerhouse, based on the beautiful lakefront of lake Meðalfellsvatn, Iceland. Only 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Sleeps 6 adults, or a family of 6 people. It has all the equipment a house needs. A spacious living room, a kitchen. Two big beedrooms, and a smaller bedroom. Double beds. Two bathrooms, master bathroom with a bathtub, and a bathroom with shower. A “Mancave” on the patio outside. A hottub. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, located in the southern region of Iceland. The location is great since many of the most popular sites are close by, like the golden circle, the south coast and Þjórsárdalur. The house os located in a tiny village where there are some vegetable farms and possible to buy fresh produce from the farmers. The house is surrounded by trees and the garden is very sheltered from the wind, behind the house is a large garden with a patio and a hot tub.

The next town with all the necessary services is Selfoss only 24 km, 20 minutes by car. The villa is very well located with famous places near for example the famous waterfall Gullfoss, the geyser area Geysir, the national park Þingvellir, the volcanos Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull and more.
