Roomy 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress & 2 sleeper futons, + a detached Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A nature path leads to a hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility awaits! On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin daybed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Full kitchen & tiny bathroom with shower too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. The tiny house and meadow are very private on the edge of the property, and just for you. Our family's gazebo, fire pit, hammock, trail & garden are shared with guests.

The cottage is nestled on a large, private lot with over two acres of forest and a large private beach just steps away from the house. The main floor has a bright, open living area, two bedrooms, and two baths. The basement has a bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and a ping-pong/pool table. Just 10 minutes from Southwest Harbor and Acadia National Park, you'll love the convenient location of this home!

The house is located in Ellsworth Maine and although shops, restaurants, local lakes, Acadia National Park and area attractions are only a quick drive away, the home feels soothing, very safe, secluded and welcoming to all.

Our family is excited to share our off-grid *lite* cabin with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s bright, beautiful, and full of color. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, beach cruisers, an outdoor shower, hot tub, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and a cozy wood stove in the winter.

Our cabin is nestled in the woods bordering the Eagle Lake Road in Acadia and is less than 5 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. The hillside wooded setting has westerly sun exposure, perfect to relax and unwind after a day in the park. Enjoy dinner in the large kitchen or drive into town where you have a vast selection of fabulous restaurants and entertainment. Though you cannot see the road during high traffic times you may hear it.
