Located 20 mins away from Colby College, we welcome families of students to come and stay with us during such a monumental transition. We are 10 mins from the Maine State Capitol, 10 mins from downtown Belgrade Lakes, an hour from Acadia National Park, and 45 mins from Sugarloaf. Our space is ideal for all vacationers looking for a getaway or adventure!

Embden is the 3rd cleanest lake in Maine and our lot is wooded for nice privacy. Fire pit, lounge chairs and hammock at the water's edge. Kayak, paddleboard, swim, yard games, fish or relax! Great golf close by! In the winter warm up by the fire after playing outside (sugarloaf 35 mins) ski, snowmobile, ice fish for salmon! Our driveway accommodates trailers.

Welcome to Fox Carlton Pond! Settle into our Cub Cabin surrounded by the beauty of nature at a peaceful resort on our 5 acre private pond alongside the Sandy River. Our Cub Cabin is furnished with a bunk bed (see photos) with a double mattress on the bottom bunk that sleeps 2 and a single mattress on top bunk that sleeps 1. Enjoy walking trails, lawn games, fire pit, pickle ball, use of canoes, kayaks, peddle boat and docks for exploring, fishing and swimming.
