Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental and historical features.

Casa Palma

Stylish tropical detached villa opposite the palm fringed beach and a short stroll to the laid back village of Mission Beach with a great choice of restaurants bars and galleries. Ideal for singles or couples with a queen bedroom and a daybed in living room. A cot and high chair are available. Soak up the sun on the deck lounges. Relax in the exclusive use of the cabana and cool off in the plunge pool. Continental breakfast provisions are complimentary. Casa Palma is for house guests only.

The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

Private 1-bed Apartment in tropical oasis

Our Granny Flat is a tranquil oasis, set high up in the palm trees overlooking our swimming pool. Lorikeets whizz by, butterflies cruise by and you'll hear the occasional train toot. We're located in a lovely suburb walking distance to the QCB Stadium, less than 10 min drive into the city and extremely popular Strand area and restaurants. The entire Granny Flat is yours with private access, kitchen and living area, separate bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite with rain shower.

The Cubby Luxury Nature Retre

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. There is the stunning fireplace that flows from inside out to the deck, also able to be enjoyed from the bathtub. *PLEASE NOTE: The service fee is imposed and received 100% by Air BnB, not the host.

The apartment is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has everything you should need for a very comfortable stay with dedicated under cover parking and access so you won't be getting wet if it is raining. Enjoy watching the butterflies and birds in the garden from the verandah. .

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Curated by Interior Designer Fifi. She wrote a story for the life to be lived in the space. Like the great man himself, thoughtful yet spare enough with surprises of artful collection. A Little Slice of Heaven Is a place of healing, home cooked style or fine dining, with complimentary 1st morning English breakfast ingredients provided. Experience hot springs, waterfalls and national parks within 5-30 min drive. With lower humidity, and at 2800ft above sea level we are approx. 6 degrees cooler than the coast. Centenary Park and bus stop are within walking distance. . We have renovated and decorated this genuine old town cottage so you can lay back and relax. Our two rooms are fully airconditioned and share a bathroom. The big wooden windows allow a glimpse into the colorful garden.
