Take your first glimpse of the rolling fields surrounding our traditional Cotswold stone farmstead, as you travel along our private, tree lined drive. In an AONB, the farmstead sits on the edge of the Golden Valley. Dating back to the 1700s, Little Finch's Cottage is nestled within the original Farmhouse, where you can still find exposed beams and sunny window seats. Step through Little Finch's front door into the lounge/breakfast room which is linked to the bedroom by a steep spiral staircase.

Country walks abound including “Cider with Rosie’s” Slad Valley and The Woolpack Inn for more than a short stroll. Well Close is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and as such offers scenic walks, villages and towns all within easy distance.

Cosy Cotswold Coach house - Rural and quiet

The Coach house is built within the grounds of our private gated bungalow and located between the idyllic villages of Chalford and Minchinhampton only 5 miles from Stroud. The accommodation is accessed via its own private entrance and arranged over two floors. Downstairs - open plan spacious living/kitchen/dining area and access to the private secure fenced garden. Upstairs - open plan bedroom with super king bed, day bed and rollaway bed the bathroom is accessed directly off the bedroom.

The cottage is set within the beautiful Cotswold village of Bisley, with its two pubs and village shop/post office. It is set out over three floors and comprises of an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with an exposed stone fireplace with woodburner, TV, wifi and a well equipped kitchen. A very steep wooden staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom and bathroom/w.c. Another steep staircase leads to the second floor which comprises of a twin bedroom and a bathroom/w.c.

The Stableyard

Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The Stableyard is the perfect, peaceful place for a couple to unwind and enjoy this fantastic area, which boasts a picturesque canal path and walks a plenty. Not that easy to find. With a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen downstairs, luxurious bedroom and en suite shower room upstairs and suntrap terrace for morning coffee it is ideal for 2 but can take 4 at a squeeze. Nick, your host lives 2 minutes walk away, and is happy to recommend things to do and see.
