Central to everything that is awesome about CB and still very quiet! At the start or end of your day, relax on the large breezy porch. A short drive to the NC Aquarium at Ft. Fisher, the ferry, and downtown Wilmington. We absolutely love our cottage and the charm of CB, and we want you to feel like a local from the minute you check-in!

The Artist's Cottage

Guests must be 21 or older. Two guest max!!! Also, I get a lot of requests for small pets. Due to safety and health concerns, I cannot accommodate any pets at all. That includes service or support animals. I live on the property in the main house. Cottage is behind house. No 3rd party booking allowed. The person checking in must be the person that booked and the person that's name is on the account. If you are interested in booking the cottage. No smoking/vaping of anything inside cottage.

The Empie-Possion Cottage is located in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington, NC. The cottage is three blocks from the water and a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown. The Empie-Possion cottage was built in 1913 and is expertly restored. Have a drink on the screened in patio in the back or on the historic front porch. Come enjoy a stay where you can truly unwind. This one of the most unique homes you can stay in Downtown and you feel it’s charm the minute you step in the door.

Take a right at the waterfront... just 4 blocks away you will find local retail shops, ferry services, parasailing, catamarans, historic home tours, museum, restaurants, pubs and the famous Beaufort boardwalk.

Virginia’s Country Cottage, a charming guest house constructed in 2020, nestled on 40 acres behind our residence. Make the ~20 min paddle to experience the unspoilt beauty of Masonboro Island’s pristine, 9 mile white sand beach. Or chill on the dock and take in the jaw dropping views with a glass of wine.
