Surfside Cottage on Lake Huron

This place is our home: She is well worn with memories of guests past, and open to help create new ones with you. Surfside Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront and private deck right on the water. Picnic tables, firepits, a charcoal grill and beach furniture help round out your quintessential Up North experience here in Oscoda.

Patti's Getaway

If you are looking for a comfortable yet exciting vacation spot, Patti's Getaway is your place. In 2018, Patti's Getaway has been remodeled. Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

Two Trees Lake Huron Cottage, dog friendly

Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron that is a perfect spot for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps four, and has a freshly updated kitchen and bathroom. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 38 stone steps - which are challenging for some. The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

Charming 3 bedroom chalet within walking distance to Lake Huron beaches, boardwalk and trails. Deck, gas grill, fire pit all surrounded by beautiful woods and wild life. Near the Au Sable River, Kayak and canoe rentals and 330 miles of hiking trails, amazing bird watching, cedar lake, and Lake Huron.

Walk to Dairy Queen or walk to Furtaw Field where there are weekend festivities! You can take a short drive down River Road to see Champagne Hill or The Lumber-mans Monument, and a variety of sights. Ride down the beautiful ATV trails nearby or rent a boat or kayak. So much fun and so much to do!

You’ll love our place because of the outdoors, location, relaxation & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Please take note of directions to home, sometimes GPS is incorrect. Also, special reminder of drinking water if wanted, as house has well water.
