Our family-run camp is a well-kept secret, where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture of our local Moroccan family. We offer a range of unique experiences, including desert cooking classes, bread-making, traditional music, camel treks and more. You can disconnect from the modern world, reconnect with nature, and embrace the serenity of the Sahara.

Desert Camp Chraika, hut Sidi Naji

Traditional clay-wooden hut in a camp located in a beautiful nature area of small dunes with tamarisk trees, a 20-minute walk from M'hamid village. Built from natural materials, with electricity coming from solar power, huts will keep you warm at night and cool during the day. Rooms are equipped with comfy beds, warm blankets, carpets and simple shelves for clothes. Full Moroccan breakfast is served every day and is always included in the price. We also serve lunch and dinner on request.

Berber Nomad Camp in the Desert + Activities

Discover the deeply stunning beauty of the Sahara desert at our quiet camp among the dunes. Here you will be able to listen to traditional music under a sea of stars, eat mouth-watering Moroccan dishes, and sleep in one of our four cozy adobe style huts with double or twin beds, and shower and flushing toilet inside. We are 2 km from M’Hamid El Ghizlane—away from the loud streets of town, you will find peace and tranquility in the desert, we will meet you from M’Hamid when you arrive.

Camp and camel trek in the desert : Sahara Peace

Welcome to the Sahara Peace bivouac ! Whether for a night or several days, venturing into the desert is a strong experience for many of us. We look forward to welcoming you to share, during your stay, our life in the desert. We are specialized in organizing hikes and trekking with camels. Bivouacs under the stars, tasty cuisine, a varied landscape, we put at your service a competent, experienced and happy team to share with you their love and knowledge of the desert.

The Zaid garden - Peace, love & permaculture

The Zaid garden is a family run household of me, my wife and our two children - 3 & 5 years old, with permaculture farm. We only rent out full pension. Breakfast, lunch and dinner we offer for 15€ per person and day. Vegetarian or vegan good can be prepared, just let us know before. The meals we ask you to pay for once you are here and in cash. The house is big with spacy rooms on huge land surronded by palm trees. There's even a live band playing some nights.

Cozy camp under stars

Our camp is 1.74 km from the famous village of M'hamid. Staying at our camp gives you the opportunity to watch breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, lose yourself in the silence and peacefulness of the Sahara, rest soundly in Berber tents, as well as enjoy night time campfires with traditional music, excellent traditional dinners, and filling breakfasts. You will also have the chance to join one of our desert tours run by our experienced team.
