Welcome to your peaceful escape in Running Deer Ranch—a private, gated lakefront community tucked just 38 minutes west of Paso Robles. Surrounded by nature, vineyards, and open skies, this modern 1,000 sq. ft. cabin on 10 acres offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Only 17 minutes from JUSTINS Winery and other renowned wineries. Creek arms on the property are seasonal and typically dry by late summer — perfect for exploring, rock hopping, or spotting wildlife in the drier months.

Secluded honeymoon cabin on a private hilltop with breathtaking views - lake, vineyard, rolling meadows, and mountain peaks. Access by foot to endless lakeside and mountain trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing; outdoor dining spaces and kitchen, outdoor hot tub and cold shower, playground area, rock patios and walkways made from sandstone native to the property. A marina/boat rental is within a short drive. Cabin is situated on 80acre ranch, ~10mi from Hwy101 in wine country.

Hollyhock Vineyard's Cute Cottage

Immerse yourself in the vineyard lifestyle. Hollyhock Cottage has a nice sleeping/sitting area, kitchenette, extra large bath, lawn and outdoor area. Please note: from June 2025-June 2026, our vineyard has been ripped out and we are in the process of replanting. While the view might look a little different, we’re still surrounded by our neighbor’s stunning vineyards. Guests are invited to enjoy a free tasting of our wines at Midpoint’s tasting room at the Bottle Shop in downtown Paso.

Wine Country Cabin

Secluded wine country cabin near Lake Nacimiento (although it is not a lake cabin) situated on 3 acres in a private gated community. Rustic feel with modern updates throughout the residence. 2 bedrooms ( primary w/ a queen bed and secondary w/ 2 twin trundle beds). The living room also has a sleeper sofa, and a queen size air mattress is available. 1 bathroom with updated shower. Outdoor deck with Santa Maria style oak BBQ pit. Only a 20 min drive to Justin winery.

"The Treehouse"/studio in oaks. Ocean 6+min. walk

This Isolated, cozy 400 sq.ft. studio on stilts has a queen bed in the bedroom, a small bathroom, a couch that pulls out to a twin bed in the living room. High-speed internet with WiFi, Roku-TV streaming, sm. fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet, coffee + tea pots, private deck, and covered parking. This space resides beneath large Oaks, near a creek and golf course. A 2-night minimum on Friday to Sunday am and a 1-night minimum on Sunday to Friday am.

Sleeping Deer Cabin in the Wood

Take it easy with a step back in time at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy relaxing on the cabin deck while watching the deer in the pasture. Located right off the 101, this cabin is situated on an occupied estate. There is a wonderful trail to enjoy that loops from the gated entrance to the guesthouse for all to enjoy. This is a no frills stay, simple and restful in the oak woods. 15 minutes to San Luis Obispo and 10 minutes to downtown Paso Robles.

The Retreat at SōNA Estate

The Retreat overlooks the SōNA Estate vineyards, orchards, and winery is a beautiful, home away from home. While the Retreat is located on the first floor of the owners’ two story home, it can only be accessed by a separate front door. The wrap around porch has a comfortable seating areas perfect for early morning coffee as the sun rises or those late afternoon drinks while gazing out across one of the vineyards.

Charming oceanfront beach cottage. One bedroom, one bathroom. Queen bed in the bedroom and a twin and sofa bed in living room to sleep up to 4. Sliding doors open up to beachfront deck. Public beach access adjacent to property. Full kitchen, wireless access, charcoal bbq. There are 2 units on the property. This rental is closest to the ocean, on the bluff.
