Cnoc Ard, Black Cuillin Pod

Our cosy pods are situated in the picturesque rural township of Borve but still only 5 minutes drive from the Islands capital Portree. The pods have uninterrupted views of Borve Hill and a view of the Red Cuillins. Each pod is equipped with a bathroom which has a shower, basin, toilet and towels. Kitchenette (no hob) with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric heater, hot water, sofa, digital tv with dvd player, folding dining table and chairs, comfortable bed with nice bed linen.

Shore-side house with a sandy beach just across a very quiet lane. Stunning view of Broadford Bay & Beinn na Caillich. Excellent base location for touring Skye & the surrounding area. After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. We are located in Bayfield, Portree, an out of the way quiet street that has the benefit of being a 5 minute walk to the heart of Portree and Somerled Square, which is where all the local shops, restaurants and pubs are located.

Our beautiful wooden pods are set on the hillside behind the Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse and enjoy amazing views across to the bay and the hilly surroundings of Uig. In a wonderful location to explore the Isle of Skye, The Cowshed is perfectly situated for enjoying spectacular sunsets in a peaceful setting. We have 7 pods available, and each of these cosy spaces is equipped with enough comforts for you to enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

Self catering house Central Portree

My house is in Portree town centre, next to a supermarket and within 1 minutes walk of shops and restaurants Portree is a great base for exploring the North of Skye. The house is about 135 years old (built around 1890) and full of colour and character. Please do not book this house if you are expecting a modern home, full of neutral colours-please go to a hotel instead.
