Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Braes Retreat is a garden apartment tucked away in the peaceful community of Braes. Just six miles out of Portree, its central location on the island is an ideal base to visit the whole of the Isle of Skye. The apartment sits in an established garden, overlooking the Sound of Raasay, with shore access from the croft.
