The Loft encompasses a cozy mountain cabin feel with modern updates and easy access to some of Southwest Colorado's best attractions. Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Indulge with a family meal prepared in our fully equipped kitchen or BBQ out on the deck! This vintage cabin was built in 1974, and remains in near original condition with beautiful exposed timber. It's an older house with quirks! Decor is minimal southwest art deco/ neuveau forest fusion! Coniferous and bright!

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

The Rio Suite is a private and all-inclusive suite inside of a larger 6,000 sq ft house. We are close to Downtown Durango with family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, close to the airport and endless adventures. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, comfy beds, and spacious atmosphere with total privacy if you want it. Crystal (matriarch of the fam) knows Durango inside and out! She's a native and loves people. We also have one indoor / outdoor cats named Chess.

Riverside Retreat-paddling, biking, bird watching

This adorable studio is located on 5 acres of riverfront property. River access is available for paddle boarding the Animas River. You have the spaciousness of being in the country but are less than 5 minutes from the best pizza in town. The Animas City River Trail bike path is directly accessible from the property. Starry night skies call you outside to a campfire pit where you can watch the sun set and enjoy s’mores! This is a child friendly setting with room for kids to explore and adventure. Owners live nearby and visits with the miniature horses can easily be arranged.

Amy’s Place

Welcome to our beautiful southwestern home with a view of open space and forest. You will be staying on the ground floor of a unique 2 unit home. A long term tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment with a separate private entrance. Amy and Daniel are available remotely if you need anything during your stay. We are two miles from town, 5 from downtown and 29 miles from Purgatory. It’s the perfect southwest adventure hub!
