BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE guests may reserve the wood fired cedar hot tub and the sauna, which are close by and private, at an additional charge. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Hemlock Cabin.

Nestled in beautiful Hemlock grove is this cozy cabin. Its equiped with all the necessities of home to make your stay comfortable. Guests will have private access to Scammons Pond, also known as, R. Lyle Frost Managment Area. Its a fun place to kayak and fish. From the cabin its about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. Besides Acadia, there is local hiking, nearby shopping, local restaurants, the Sunrise Trail, and other Maine adventure just waiting to be explored.

Lakefront Gem with Breathtaking Island Views

You didn’t know you needed this- until you arrived. A modern studio tucked right on the water’s edge, where nothing is between you and the lake but loons, sunlight, and a whole lot of time to just be. Paw Paw’s Cabin is a newly renovated 2 bedroom/1 bathroom slice of Heaven sitting right on Pushaw Lake. It is conveniently located 11 miles from Bangor International Airport with easy access to grocery stores, shopping, and local restaurants/breweries. However once at the cabin, you quickly forget that you are near to these conveniences as the cabin is nice, quiet and nestled into the serene peacefulness of the lake. Not to mention that Acadia National Park is only an hour drive away!

Enjoy this 2-story cottage on Pushaw Lake, Maine. This location is perfect for a couple looking to get away or a family looking to make memories. This location offers a terrific spring, summer, and fall experience for kayaking, fishing, swimming, boating, or relaxing. A grill and WIFI are a few of many amenities. The grass yard takes you from the back porch to the dock and waterfront. The lakefront is available exclusively for your enjoyment. This includes kayaks, SUP, and canoe.

Majestic private waterfront Tipi * on a lake. Quiet nature oasis with hot tub, woodstove, firepit, modern grill, and all the essentials. Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.
