The Billiards Room

We call our house The Billiards Room because it was designed and built around a full-sized billiards table. This was a labour of love by a retired builder who used recycled materials to create a home with real character and charm. Modernised with style, it's a wonderful holiday home, summer and winter, still owned by the family of the builder. Even somewhere as beautiful as Queenstown, guests often prefer just to stay in. Serious.

The Spruce Hus, Studio by the Lake.

Welcome to your cabin by the lake. Created by a Queenstown architect it’s warm and cosy with underfloor heating for the Winter, north facing and sunny in the courtyard for dining in Summer. It's clad with Canadian Cedar on the outside and lined with Scandinavian Spruce inside giving a lovely natural ambiance. Located in a quiet and peaceful part of sunny Kelvin Heights it's beside the lake and the Queenstown Trail.

Perched on the hill above Lake Wakatipu and with uninterrupted views over the Remarkable Mountains, this is your home away from home. Only 3.5 kms from downtown Queenstown and yet away from the hustle and bustle. Centrally located between both local ski fields being 7.5Kms to the base of The Remarkables and 11Kms to the base of Coronet Peak. There is a popular restaurant/cafe a short walk away.

On bus route - but steep walk up from bus stop. Parking for 2 cars 15 minutes by car to Frankton shopping centres and the CBD. 25 mins to Arrowtown.

My place has beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. 200m to the lake. 10% discount for 7 or more nights. Walking distance to many nice places. I charge a basic fee for 2 people and $50 each extra person, maximum of 4 people., Planes fly overhead. Most guests enjoy this.
