Wake up with a sunny disposition as morning light streams into a room with a tangerine orange wall and lemon yellow blanket. The use of vibrant colors continues throughout this airy and updated apartment—including the private pea-graveled patio.
Our apartment was renovated in 2018 with tender loving care. It is one of 4 apartments in the same building owned by our family.
Location
The apartment is located at a distance of about 20 mins on foot from the city center (the Municipal market, 1,8 km) or a 5-7 minute drive. It is in a residential area with several local shops around it. The good thing about it is that you can park your car (it probably is the last part of town you can easily park before you enter the hustle and bustle) and then you can either walk or take a bus or even a taxi that will cost you about 5 Euros to the city center.
It has very easy access to the national road without having to go through the traffic of the center.
The apartment
It features 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed (160X200) and the other one with a full bed (130X200). The living room has a single bed that also functions as a couch. A pull out bed is used for the 6th person. All matresses are of excellent quality and brand new! Same goes for pillows!
Both bathrooms are with a shower and the larger of the two has a shower cabin. The smaller one has the washing machine(detergent supplied). Both of them with hairdryers and toiletries.
The kitchen is large enough for a whole family and it is fully equipped (don't forget : I cook!!! so I know how to equip a kitchen). It also features a dishwasher - who wants to be washing dishes on their vacation.... - I have made sure that you have all the necessities for a smooth arrival (whether is it late at night or early in the morning) until you get your bearings around the neighborhood. In other words apart from the obvious, in the kitchen you will also find some basic materials such as olive oil, salt, pepper, a variety of spices and of course coffee, sugar and tea. You will also find a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and a sandwich grill !
Both bedrooms have an a/c unit, and there is a large a/c unit in the living room.
The dining area has a table large enough for 6 people and of course 6 chairs.
For your relaxing time you will find books, magazines, playing cards, chess and backgammon.
A 43' smart TV including Netflix will also offer relaxing time.
Just outside the front door, there is a small table and chairs with colorful cushions.

To make your stay even more joyful and unique, we've prepared a series of customized maps, full of tips on our favorite places to visit (from restaurants and bars to little local “secrets”, nice walks or interesting places of all kinds).
The host, (me!) will be there to welcome you and help you with all the basics.
In case you have any special needs, please inform me before your arrival.

House Rules :
Please try to respect the property and our efforts in providing the best possible. In case of any damage, be kind to inform me and reimburse the damage. Also, try to respect the neighbors and be quiet during late hours. Local quiet hours are : 15.00-17.00 and from 23.00 - 07.00
Please do not smoke inside the apartment. You can use the outside area for that.

Access to the whole apartment, its outside area and the parking spot (however, if your party is only 2 people, you may choose your bedroom and the 2nd one will remain locked)
We will be there to check you in on your arrival as well as for your check out. I'm available all the time on my mobile phone for information or for whatever you might need. Change of linen once a week.
The apartment is in a residential neighborhood with several shops within very short walking distance. A greengrocer and pastry shop are a spit away, as well as a nice and inexpensive tavern that has takeaway. A large supermarket is 500 meters away and it also has several shops around it like another pastry shop, a 24/7 mini market, a gas station and more.
Hiring a rental car is recommended for ease of transportation. Chania is a rather small city and you can easily walk around. However, during the heat of summer, it might seem unbearable to walk even short distances. The short taxi ride to the city center will cost you about 5 Euros.
Our area is called 'Koumbes' and is served by bus No. 13 to and from Souda port as well the city center. Nearest bus stations are 'Kalykas' and the main Police Station both within 500 meters distance.
Easy access by car to the National Road for out of town excursions. No need to enter the hustle and bustle of the center.
Plenty of parking on the street (if more than one car).
The 2 bedrooms face on the main street which has traffic most of the day. For those who are sensitive to noise, it is advised that the double-glazed windows are closed at night to eliminate noise coming from the street.
