I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Our new hand crafted Nivendale cabin uses cedar, poplar, oak, pine and driftwood harvested from our 150+ acre lakefront property. The unique rustic mock treehouse design has a large raised deck with an outdoor tree trunk window seat. Set among massive shady trees, it is beautifully furnished. Guests can enjoy our large adjacent campground shoreline with a swimming pier, and boat launch and canoe use at no charge. Recently featured in our local paper, there is no cabin quite like this.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 2,000 sq foot 3b 2b home. Close to all the restaurants and a few miles from shopping and the UA campus. Great location and neighborhood. This home offers plenty of privacy and is 1 minute from the interstate and your local Walmart Neighborhood shopper. This is 2 story home so you will have more than enough room to have fun and relax. It is fully functional for both short and long stays. No big parties please.
