Misty Mountain Hut - Ruapehu

Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Kawakawa Hut

A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Vida is a fully refurbished, stand-alone house with modern furnishings and high-quality features. Located in central Turangi, tucked away in a quiet commercial area. It is fully fenced for your dog to join you. Two-minute drive to cafes, supermarket and town. There is ample room for your boat/jet ski if you're heading out fishing on the lake. Turangi is an adventurer's paradise year round and many complete the Tongarario Alpine Crossing as it’s about the closest accommodation you will find.

Welcome to ALBA, our little cottage. Located on a, semi-rural cul-de-sac 5 mins from Turangi. There is NO wifi Our cosy cottage has two bedrooms, large bathroom/laundry space and an open plan kitchen, dining, living area heated by a large heat pump. The mighty Tongariro River with its world famous trout fishing pools is at the end of the road, the Turangi township is a 5 min drive or a beautiful walk past the river and the Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro crossing are only 40mins away.

Rangataua Kowhai Tiny Home

Welcome to the Rangataua Kowhai Tiny Home. Come and enjoy your home away from home. Relax and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or your favourite glass of wine after a long day on the slopes, biking, walking through our native bushes or horse riding in the local forest. Kowhai Tiny home is a space to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle and wind down. The open plan living allows for intimate interaction while the French doors allow you to move into a cozy outdoor experience.

Kosbys Cottage, Tongariro

Kosbys Cottage, Tongariro provides excellent value for money, offering ample space for families (children over 2 years old) or small groups of friends. A snug retreat during winter, thanks to a very efficient wood-burner (there is no heat pump). The spacious couch is perfect for unwinding, while the well-equipped kitchen, resembling that of a caterer’s, includes an espresso machine and opens out onto a charming patio area with a barbecue, herb garden, and stunning vistas.

This cozy cottage offers beautiful views! With a covered outdoor area with bifold windows, you will be able to enjoy them at any time. Tranquility, comfort and relaxation, just a few minutes away from lake Taupo and only 10 minutes drive to Taupo town - This place is perfect to escape real life and enjoy a break! It is private with modern furniture, a well equipped kitchen with alpacas and emus just outside. You can feed the alpacas. Plenty of parking space.
