This very old, very tiny cottage offers guests a truly cosy place to stay. You’ll find everything you need in just 18 square metres! Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

York is only 30 minutes away by car with its vast array of shops bars and restaurants. Fishing is payable daily depending on lake availability please ask in advance should you wish to fish. An ideal location for exploring the North Yorkshire moors, Whitby, Scarborough and the market towns of Malton and Helmsley and historic city of York. Sleeping up to 4 people, this cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The village is a five minute walk across the fields.

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.

The Peat House at Ponden Hall

This unique and stylish annexe is part of the historic Ponden Hall, a house enjoyed by the Brontë sisters and the inspiration for Thrushcross Grange in Wuthering Heights as well as Wildfell Hall!
