This lovely studio is a short drive (or walk) to downtown San Rafael, about 20 minutes from San Francisco, and about 30-40 minutes from Napa and Sonoma. We are located on a hill in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and walking trails nearby. Please note: The road to our house from the main street (Lincoln Avenue) is 1/3 of a mile and is narrow and winding. There is also some light freeway noise. There is plenty of street parking (no restrictions) in front of the house.

Hiking trails and bike routes originate in our neighborhood. Deer roam freely on the property, sometimes in small herds, and it's a great space for bird watching. The apartment sits on a sunny and rustic one-acre (mostly an all uphill acre) 14 miles North of San Francisco. Off-street parking. Pets welcome.

Perfectly situated for hiking, mountain biking or trips to Napa Valley. Strictly no pets because of host’s allergies. There are stairs from street to the entrance.

Secluded but central, cozy two room apartment, a minute's walk from downtown (restaurants and cafes literally around the corner) A private entrance, opens to a flower-filled patio. We have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There is a very comfortable queen bed and an ottoman that folds out to a roomy single bed.
