Spacious cabin and camp on a cove with spectacular views. Large deck overlooking the water. Updated indoor and outdoor shower and kitchen. Wood stove and mini-splits added in 2022 for cooling and heating. Access to the water, for swimming, and boating. Many hiking trails nearby. Ask about other check in days. One bedroom is in the main cabin. Additional sleeping cabins located nearby provide extra room for more guests. For more than 6 guests extra charge of $20 per person per night.

Tiny house with AC!!

A tiny guest house (450 sq ft) overlooking the Benjamin River. AC!!. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private porch. Living area has a smart tv (no cable, but internet available to access your streaming account). DVD's also available. Kitchenette comes with Keurig with k-cups included, mini fridge, coffee maker/filters, toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner hot plate (no oven), dishes/pots and pans. There is a loft with an army cot. Not suitable for children under age 5.

Fresh water pond for swimming in village. 15 minutes from Stonington, day trip to Acadia, fresh lobster around the corner and close to Nervous Nellie’s Jams and Jellies. Must be seen to be believed.

Historic schoolhouse of Brooklin converted into the perfect one bedroom getaway. Located across the street from the Brooklin Rockbound Capel with a quick 20-minute drive to Blue Hill. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor or Bangor are all with in an hour away. The original post and beam construction, with a sleeping loft, give the interior a rustic vibe offset by the playful color palette and butterfly wallpaper make it more botanical and lighthearted.

Surround yourself with nature, the smell of pine trees and the ocean breeze. Stones throw house is just a short drive to Deer isle village and Stonington village where you can spend the day wandering shops, watching the working water front and eating lots of fresh lobster. There are numerous hiking trails around the island, beaches, coffee shops and an array of restaurants!

Tent Camping Site at Deer Isle Hostel

Deer Isle Hostel is on a bridge-accessed island. It is part of an owner-built homestead featuring a seventeenth-century style house, forest huts and single rooms. You are welcome to join us for $20 dinner Tue, Thurs, Fri and Sunday evenings at 6:30, which you may reserve by 4 pm on the day of the dinner. If you want dinner the day you arrive, give us a call!
