The Live Oak Cottage is a beautiful guest house situated under sprawling live oak trees. The suite and main house was originally a US Coast Guard Lifesaving Station built in 1901 - and moved to its current location in the 60s. The suite has been restored to bring it up to date with modern amenities, while retaining its rustic charm. A kitchenette, with fridge, toaster, plug in cook top + more. Welcome to Gidget's Dream, the perfect romantic escape for a couple and their four legged kids. Unplug from life in a semi-oceanfront, vintage 1951 one-bedroom cottage that's located only 150ft from the beach access. Just bring your bathing suit, the cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing vacation. Enjoy a fenced in backyard for the pets with a hot tub, picnic table and gas grill. Don't pack bulky beach stuff! A cart, two chairs and umbrella are there for your use!

Sunrise Surf House is right across the street from the ocean, with great views! The access to the ocean is only 2 houses away. Our large pool will have free heat starting the end of April -mid October. . We also have a 6 person hot tub on the pool deck, closed Jan/Feb. Family and dog friendly! (See House Rules). We are centrally located 3 houses away from Southern Shores Crossing Shopping Center, where you can walk to dining, pizza, ice cream, shopping, and even an escape room.

Welcome to our little piece of paradise! The unique furniture and personal touches have been imported by ourselves from Bali. We own a shop called Island Attic in Duck, NC, where we sell our finds from around the globe. It is a short walk to the Multi-Use path on Bay Drive where you can walk, bike, run, or skate about 3 miles along the sound towards Kitty Hawk and 2 miles south to the Wright Brothers Monument. Kill Devil Hills has many public beach accesses with parking nearby.

Light airy loft with a cathedral ceiling. Kitchenette, plates, utensils, glassware, cups, with microwave, refrigerator, Kuerig machine with coffee and creamers. Breakfast bar with 2 stools for eating. Private entrance, Private bathroom, 55” flatscreen tv with directv, and wifi. Outside mini patio will gas grill and table and chairs. A little oasis to enjoy and relax in. Pet Friendly. Gas grill will be turned off for winter from December thru March due to fire hazards.

Chloe's Cottage - 7 minute walk to the beach

[updated floors and living room 2025 - pictures coming] Nestled in the heart of Southern Shores, our house is tucked away from the typical hustle and bustle of the resort areas of Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Duck, while being close enough for walk to the beach! A 15-minute bike ride into the town of Duck (2 bikes provided) will provide an afternoon of shopping, dining and drinking with your friends, with out the headache of traffic and parking.

Our 100 year old cottage is nestled in the woods just a 5 minute drive from the ocean and only 1/2 mile to trails, boat ramp & kayak launch. Hit the beach or explore the sound during the day and enjoy our rustic retreat and it's awesome outdoor living space at night: herb garden, fire pit, grill and seating area. Inside raw wood beams, floor to ceiling pine and a loft that kids will love are just some of the unique features our little cabin offers!
