The Flat Top on 1st is a throwback to an era almost lost in the Outerbanks!! Originally constructed in 1958, this single story Block House sits on a large double corner lot in the Heart of Kill Devil Hills. Close to the Beach, shopping , and Attractions, Our Vintage Flatroof is Modernized while trying to keep its nostalgic feel that made so many fall in love with the Outer Banks!! (Note: Minimum 7 day, Saturday to Saturday stays only from June til Labor Day.)

Enjoy a home right on the beach. You can see the ocean from most rooms. Sit on the deck and see your family play on the beach, simmer in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, walk to fish head pier, minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. This is a great beach get away for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season (from April thru September) we only do full week Sunday to Sunday rentals.

This charming cottage located steps from the ocean is loaded with character, originally built to be a diner in 1948 it has been renovated into a charming rental for you to enjoy! This small cottage is 810 sqft, 1 king bedroom and 2 xl twins in bunkroom, 1 queen sofa bed in the sunroom, 1 bath, with an open living, dining, kitchen area. The porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee or evening happy hours!

Freshly renovated home in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Classic cottage vibe with modern comforts. Walk to restaurants, Hayman St public beach access, Brew Thru, shopping and Bay Drive sound side sunset path. Pet and family friendly, cozy with a hint of retro nostalgia. Outside living spaces include a 6-person hot tub, covered turf seating, propane grill, covered bar seating, and an outdoor shower.
