Edgewater Resort, 20 minutes from Louisville, is Taylorsville Lake's premier vacation spot, tucked away in a gated community with over 163 acres that overlooks the marina. Within walking distance you'll find a community pool (seasonal) with a sand volleyball court and a fire pit. This two-story cottage sleeps up to 10 guests and showcases a master suite with two private balconies and a jetted soaking tub. You can also hang out on the private deck out back equipped with a 4-person hot tub.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is the perfect place to get away and gather with family and friends. The resort is located conveniently between Bardstown, Louisville, and Frankfort on the Bourbon Trail. Offseason hiking, fireplace, and hot tub make a great peaceful getaway or work from "home" experience. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, bird/deer watching and relaxing. The owners have been Resort guests for years and now own a cottage to enjoy and share with family, friends, and guests.

Washer dryer, four beds that easily sleeps 7. TV in both the master bedroom and the living room. The wonderful community also offers a swimming pool and play area for kids. Enjoy the wildlife as well including deer and turkey as you explore the walking trails. We are located in the heart of the bourbon country!

Rest, relax, and recharge in a gated community overlooking Taylorsville Lake. Don’t be another hotel's customer when you can stay in a spacious home with a Jacuzzi J-235 hot tub.

Lake access is less than a 5 minute drive, and there is a community pool just down the road when in season, and other community amenities you can enjoy. Shore Thing is a well appointed cottage located on Taylorsville Lake in Taylorsville, Kentucky. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms with fully equipped kitchen and hot tub on the back patio. Taylorsville is located roughly between Lexington and Louisville. Shore Thing provides a quiet base location for visiting Bourbon distilleries (especially Jim Beam and Four Roses) along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Or pick your pleasure nearby: hike, bike, fish, kayak, boat, swim or golf at Tanglewood.

Cottage 16 is located in Edgewater Resort at Taylorsville Lake. We offer two bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite includes a king size bed, a private bath, and a personal entrance to the back deck and hot tub. The second bedroom features two sets of bunk beds, with an additional trundle bed underneath. The back porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay. Our cottage is fully furnished and ready for you! Limited lake view during full foliage!

Nestled in the Bourbon Trail hills of Kentucky, rests Taylorsville Lakes only waterfront vacation community. Strategically placed; Cottage 37 sits on a ridge that overlooks the 3,050-acre lake and its 10,000 acres of wildlife preserve. The owners tried to capture the view from the kitchen table to inspire the cabins four-season theme. The wall hangings were chosen to mirror Kentucky’s beautiful hills, Derby culture, and the water of Taylorsville Lake.

Anchor Rental

As a big family of 4 kid and 8 grand-kids, we wanted a getaway cottage to run off too as a family. We would also like to share this family bonding experience with others. Cottage 59 is kid-friendly with a community playground off the back porch. The community pool is located up the road from our cottage. Our cottage can accommodate up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with flat screen TV's in each bedroom.
