Starry Starry Night - Luna Mountain Cottage

Two cosy semi-detached mountain cottages stand by side, with spectacular views over the surrounding koppies and mountains just 2.5hrs drive from Cape Town. You can even enjoy the views directly from Queen bed, through the romantic glass-steel French doors. Outside a huge deck and braai area is perfect when the weather is pleasant (almost always). While snuggly blankets, hot water bottles and a crackling indoor fireplace make sure Starry Starry Night is a true year-round destination.

Rosehaven Cottage

Step into the timeless charm of Rosehaven Cottage, a lovingly restored gem from the early 1900s in Swellendam. Our tranquil and beautiful garden is alive with birdsong, and you'll always find beautiful, fresh flower arrangements inside. Relax in the cozy living spaces with their lovely wooden floors. For guests with furry friends, the entire perimeter is dog-proofed. Many say it truly feels like a home away from home. A truly relaxing and welcoming haven awaits.

Hermitage Huisies: Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a stand alone century old farm cottage made postcard-perfect by the milieu of flowers, horses, green fields, dramatic mountains and adjacent farm dam. Newly redecorated, featuring a luxury double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. Fireplace in the open plan living/kitchen area. Wi-Fi, TV and USB with movies! Outside Braai and seating. "Off-the-Grid" stone cottage near Barrydale

Remote and private "off the grid" stone cottage set in the heart of Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve ( just off "Route 62") about 40km from Barrydale. The reserve is well known for it's varied biodiversity and stunning scenery. Accessible with an average car/sedan, however low clearance vehicles will struggle. The Cottage is well equipped, comfortable and completely private. Please note cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk.

About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery, it delivers as it's name suggests - peace and quiet. Embrace the quiet of the reserve, relaxing in the hottub and watching game drinking at the private waterhole

Die-Stal - Hermitage Valley, Swellendam

Peace and tranquility is what Die Stal offers most of all. Die Stal, situated in the Hermitage Valley at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains, 2,5 km outside the town of Swellendam. Die Stal is an old milking shed which has been transformed into a luxury self-catering cottage. The cottage is located on a working farm with sweeping views of the Hermitage peaks, Eenuurkop, Twaalfuurkop and Elfuurkop.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
