The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

The Talgarth Mill House

The Mill House is situated on Talgarth Town Square and is adjacent to Talgarth Mill, a water powered flour mill run by volunteers. Talgarth Mill houses an artisan bakery, a café & a craft shop. Talgarth achieved Gold in Wales in Bloom in 2021 and 2022 and a Gold in Britain in Bloom 2022. The pretty river Enig flows through the centre of town. Its situation is perfect for walking and cycling in the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Canoeing, sailing and horse-riding activities are nearby.

7 Bell Street Talgarth, Brecon

A delightful 2 bedroom cottage situated in the conservation area of Talgarth within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Comprising of a lounge, well equipped kitchen/diner, new shower room, double room and single room, with additional attic space for relaxing. This former shop premises has recently been lovingly renovated keeping much of its character and charm with plenty of vintage style. There is a secluded courtyard garden leading from the kitchen to enjoy breakfast or evening glass of wine.

Little Donkey Cottage

A charming little four star cottage on the edge of the village of Talgarth nestled in the foothills of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park. An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. Travel cot provided if needed. Close to all local amenities - shops, pubs, eating places etc. - very well equipped with off road parking, free wifi and good mobile reception. Two nights minimum stay.

Nestled in the foothills of the local Mountains, the bustling market towns locally are Talgarth 1 mile, Brecon and Hay on Wye are 8 miles. The perfect retreat to relax after exploring the area on foot or bike and is a great base to undertake other outdoor pursuits. Charming, modern self-contained property, perfect for a comfortable, cosy stay in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The rooms are light and airy, with a dual aspect living room. Views of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons can be seen from the property and from the 2 private patio areas. The property is within 8 miles of Hay-on-Wye, 8 miles from Brecon and 12 miles from Crickhowell, perfect for walking, cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding and exploring the Black Mountains.

Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

The Lodge - Stunning views and tranquil setting

Comfortable self catering log cabin set in the heart of Black Mountains, South West Wales. Tranquil setting near Hay-on-Wye, Abergavenny, Brecon and close to many attractions. A walkers and bikers paradise, outstanding views and sunset. Sleeps six – 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower, 1 twin bedroom, 1 sofa bed in lounge and a seperate shower room. Dogs welcome maximum two. Please note this accommodation is on a working farm so dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
