Equipped with modern appliances that fit the nostalgic cabin vibe: an electric wood burning stove and red retro kitchen appliances complimented by bear & moose accent decor. Sunrise Cabin (C1) at Parksland Retreat

Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.

If you love nature you will love Creekside Cottage overlooking Choccolocco Creek (the 3rd largest creek in the US). It is close to Anniston and Oxford, Cheaha State Park, CMP, hiking, fishing, biking, kayaking, dining, sports facilities, theaters, museums, etc. Amenities include WiFi, Smart TV with You Tube TV, Amazon Prime, and Netflix., Foosball table, gas grill, and fire pit. No parties. We don’t charge cleaning fees or have checkout chores.

Our family-friendly, non-toxic home in Talladega County features a full kitchen, dining, bedroom, bathroom, large back deck, screened front porch, treehouse.  We are as allergen-free and eco-friendly where possible (no animals or artificial fragrance), use mostly organic or OEKO-Tex certified linens and towels, organic mattresses - King size organic Awara Med/Soft, Twin size organic Awara Med/Soft, and Twin size organic Latex for Less Med/Firm.

Cap's Caboose 30 minutes from Cheaha State Park

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains. Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
