Escape to our charming, newly renovated guest house, set far from the main road on spacious, quiet grounds. Enjoy untouched forest, a small stocked pond, a deck, and a fire pit. Our clean, comfortable cottage features a full kitchen, luxurious sofas, wifi and streaming from Disney+, Netflix, and Hulu. We're committed to ensuring an awesome stay with responsive hosting. The newly paved driveway offers easy access. ATVs are welcome, and the surrounding town is ATV-friendly. Come relax and explore!

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

Great mountain view! Dongola Cabin

Up on the Laurel’s Dongola Cabin is a secluded, compact 384 square foot cabin designed to be a place for recreating, writing, relaxing and star-gazing. It sits on the south side of Iron Mountain in the Jefferson National Forest’s Mount Rogers National Recreation Area and takes in the scenic views of Whitetop Mountain and Mount Rogers. Its proximity to sites and towns of middle Appalachia, along with its fresh water, fresh air and relaxed pace make our cabin a lovely spot to visit.

Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT Warrior Trailhead office. ATTENTION: HMT RIDERS, we have NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGER TRAILERS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE COTTAGE. In addition to 50 FEET SPACE IN FRONT, 40 FEET in BACK, 30 FEET on SIDE of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

3 bedroom mountain retreat!

Our little peaceful home is located in the Kettlefoot black bear reserve. Bears can sometimes be seen crossing the road or strolling thru the fields Damascus and Mountain City are only minutes away! Our place offers a big yard to enjoy along with a fire pit with firewood furnished. Cornhole and board games are also available. A nice sitting area on the covered back porch to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Conveniently located in the town limits of Glade Spring and minutes from I-81, our cottage is a short distance to the VA Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, Hard Rock Casino, Historic Town of Abingdon, Grayson Highlands State Park, The Salt Trail, trout fishing, biking, and hiking in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia.
