Alexander Guesthouse in the Historic Houston Heights

Bright, airy and private guesthouse nestled in Houston's historic Heights neighborhood. Minutes away from local eateries, unique shopping opportunities and everything Houston has to offer, this guesthouse is the perfect retreat. Relax in the garden, enjoy a night of s'mores around the fire-pit or just unwind on the couch while watching a movie. The guesthouse overlooks a spacious yard that is shared with the owners and their dogs. This guesthouse is bright and airy with vaulted 12 foot ceilings in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, beautiful quartz counter-tops and all the basic necessities (including a blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc.). We always provide complimentary coffee to help get our guests day started off properly. The living room features comfortable and modern furniture, including a sofa bed and a 40" television with Xfinity X1 cable provided (with voice command). The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with crisp, lush bedding. You will also find a desk that's perfect for doing a little work (if you have to) on your laptop. The alarm clock has a Bluetooth setting if you want to listen to your own music while reading in bed. In the closet you'll find a full size washer and dryer, wooden hangers for your clothes and an iron and ironing board to keep your outfits looking neatly pressed. The bathroom features natural light which highlights the beautiful accent tile in the shower surround. There is a full-sized bathtub in case you want to take a soak. The entire guesthouse has its own WiFi along with hardwired internet connections. We take our commitment to our guests seriously and want to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay wonderful. Guests will have full access to the apartment. Guests can also enjoy accessing the backyard, featuring a seating area with a fire-pit and access to a propane powered BBQ grill. Check-in couldn't be easier. The apartment has a key pad for entry and guests will be provided with an access code prior to arrival. Some tips for using various appliances and features are located on laminated cards around the apartment (so you can sync your device to Bluetooth audio, log into WiFi, etc.) A simple house manual will be located on the kitchen counter along with some highlights about the area the guesthouse is located in. The guesthouse is located at the rear of a property in Houston Heights. Walk only a few blocks to reach the hike and bike trail. Shop on the famous 19th street nearby, and visit a wealth of local antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Our property is located right on a major bus line that makes for a 15 minute trip into downtown Houston where you can access theaters, restaurants and the city's light-rail line that can take you straight to Midtown (where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants) and the Museum District. Street parking is available for those with their own car and the city features ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber. No smoking in the unit, no pets under any circumstances, no drugs or illegal activities.

Quiet, Cozy Guesthouse with privacy

Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple or even as a family our peaceful guest house is ready for your stay. The house, located in the backyard of our main residence, is approx 600 sqft with a bedroom, living room and a full kitchen with a small fridge. The area is fully fenced in for privacy along with a patio and furniture. We are less than 10 minutes from SH 288, 45 min from the beaches, 30 min from Texas Medical Center, 15 min from Pearland Town Center, 20 min from SkyDive Spaceland

My husband and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing the treasures in the Galveston Bay Area. We are located just 1.5 miles from the Kemah Boardwalk, minutes from NASA/Space Center, & halfway between Galveston and Downtown Houston. You’ll love our place because of the quaint island setting, great for sunrise and sunsets. Come watch the boats passing and relax on island time, all while being respectful of our neighbors. We have a pool (not heated) and hot tub. No parties allowed.

This spacious, upstairs studio apartment is a cozy place for two guests. Feel relaxed the moment you step inside to a comforting color palette & beachy theme. Internet & cable TV for your enjoyment. Well stocked Kitchenette for cooking. French doors lead to a balcony that overlooks the courtyard and catches the cool ocean breeze. Excellent location! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Rare Galveston location that is only two blocks from the beach and also very close to historic downtown. You'll find the ambiance peaceful and well designed, including luxury EO Hair & Body Products. There's a fire pit with grill and option of two vintage style bikes to travel the island in style. Your stay comes with a couple of cold Topo Chicos and fresh oranges for the juice press. Cute back home with a pool and patio

Come enjoy our guesthouse!! Our home offers a pool, grill, big patio, and outside lounge area. There is a fridge near the pool for the guests to use. The house is 4 minutes away from the Galveston beach. Note: There is a house in front of the guesthouse, but the guest will be completely private. They have the whole backyard and pool to themselves. Rules *ONLY 4 people allowed or less *NO parties in our guesthouse or backyard *NO glass bottles in the pool *NO music after 8pm
