Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. Upstairs is a loft with multiple beds- ideal for a large group with children or more than one family The cabin is walking distance from the lake- ideal for summer lake activities or winter tubing and skating. Mountain Cabin on McKirdy Creek Farm in Valemount

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.
