Originally from Russia (hence the name “Beriozka” meaning Birch Tree) I live in Stamford CT. About 7-8 years ago I’ve discovered Chester/ Essex area and fell in love. I’ve been coming here during summer to enjoy river rides, during winter just to see snow on the ground of old towns and needless to say during fall – when all the beauty of nature unfolds. Then came an idea to have an own place here and when an opportunity came to buy this small cottage on Cedar Lake I’ve jumped on it.

The lake is a pristine 188-acre retreat located in Lebanon and Hebron, CT. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, and sunbathing are all activities you can enjoy. Up to 14 day stays are OK. Cottage is empty several days between guests. Virus cleaning protocol in use. This little rustic cottage, circa 1850, has antique charm, yet modern comforts. In addition to a living and dining room, there is a full vintage kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, plus laundry facilities. Very tall people will have to duck under door ways. Not suitable for children under 12. WiFi and a smart TV. Kitchen ceiling is 6'3.5".
