Welcome to Primrose Studio, a self-contained apartment on a quiet, private drive - just 2 mins walk to the centre of Totnes. Satnav won’t find us - our check in directions will ! Beautifully converted in 2021 - with slate/wooden floors with underfloor heating, wood-burning stove, bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a separate fully-equipped galley-kitchen. The studio has its own front door, with its own parking space right outside. Ideal for couples, we welcome family pets too.

The Painter’s Cabin is an ideal getaway for couples or singles alike. Recently built, cozy, non-smoking space, perfect for a retreat or a calm getaway. The Painter’s Cabin is situated on a quiet road and offers a relaxed luminous space overlooking a lovely green garden with a view of Totnes castle and the distant Dartmoor hills. No need for a car, this spacious retreat is only a five-minute walk from the town center and the iconic river Dart with its walks to Sharpham and Dartington estates.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

The self-contained cabin has a south-facing decking so you can sit with your morning coffee and let the day begin. Only 10mins walk from town centre. Cabin has a modern heating system and is cosy all year round due to the quality insulation. We supply tea, milk and fresh coffee and if you time it right you may be treated to one of Jonathan’s homemade pizzas. Bedding, towels & kitchen equipment is also supplied. There’s a small kitchen area, bathroom and reliable wifi.

The independent spirit of Totnes is at your doorstep, with the beautiful River Dart flowing through the town and beaches and Dartmoor National Park only a short drive away. We think its the perfect base for exploring everything that South Devon has to offer.
