Close to Town/HSU, Ocean, Redwoods and the River. Enjoy a secluded retreat on our 47 acres of redwoods & hot tub under the forest canopy. This contemporary chalet in the Redwoods is bathed in sunlight and is a short stroll to the Mad River & 10 minutes drive to HSU/downtown Arcata, and 15 minutes north to beaches of Trinidad or south to Eureka. Includes shared Hottub w/ sign up sheet to reserve your own 30-60 min. tub times. Healthy place for Staycation/work away from home. No pets allowed.

My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Your private suite with own entry is only minutes from Old Town, historic waterfront & all attractions including the Redwood Skywalk. Close to local beaches and Humboldt Bay. The Cottage is located across the street from the ocean, and surrounded by the forest. Quiet and private space to relax and unwind. Visit the redwoods, hiking trails, lagoons and of course, the ocean and beaches, all from the comfort of this inviting little "Cottage by the Sea" ~CDC cleaning/sanitizing guidelines for COVID19 are being implemented

Redwood Grove Cottage

Charming, affordable house all to yourself set in a small redwood grove. Nearest neighbor 200ft away through forest. 15 min walk to Trinidad on a country lane. Queen bed in master, comfortable twin bunk beds in tiny second bedroom (adults ok in bunks if less than ~180lb). Bonus playroom/office. Well-stocked kitchen and laundry. Level 2 electric car charging outlet (NEMA 14-50). Well behaved pets ok.

Modern Redwood Retreat with a huge yard

Whether you are adventuring or passing through, this charming retreat has everything you need. It's located down a quiet country road that feels far away from town but is only 4 easy miles from Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, and 6 miles to Eureka. The clean and freshly decorated space has a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch. Both beds have been reported as VERY comfortable!

Little Buttermilk Cottage

Our renovated, quaint, studio cottage is a 10 minute walk to the Redwoods, 5 minutes to shops and a short drive to the beach. Little Buttermilk Cottage is nestled in a private garden setting in the quiet neighborhood of Sunny Brae. Redwood Coast Farmhouse

Come down our hundred foot long, private driveway. On the other side of the green gate, is our 9 acre small scale, working farm/ranch. Pull in and park in your two designated parking spots. The furnishings are very tasteful, mid century, modern. Organic linens and bedding help make things comfortable.
