There are 80-plus acres of forested state land to the south of the property and a walking trail to the Sucker River leading to a fabulous swimming hole. Located 19 mi. from Canal Park/Downtown Duluth, 14 mi. to Two Harbors, 4.5 mi. to Stoney Point and 6.6 mi to Knife River Marina Beach, makes this a fabulous location 1 mi. north of Lake Superior and the North Shore Scenic Drive.

Berrywood Acres is located on the eastern shores of Lake Nebagamon. We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area. Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (mountain bike, cross-country ski and hiking). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Superior including; Pike's Bay, four of the Apostle Islands (Madeline, Basswood, Stockton and Michigan) and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
