It is good place for a few day stop over, even better for a long stay. We will accommodate you to the maximum. For long stays we can change the bed sizes to suit your needs. Within the property you will find free off street parking. Plenty of garden space to enjoy. You will have your own private patio with outside seating. Extra rooms on request.

Mount West Lakeside Lodge, Nottingham Road, D183

A dam side cottage tucked away from the farmstead - close enough to fall into the dam in the morning and feel like the frog ribbit is in your ear in the evening! A charming rustic feel cottage with an upstairs mezzanine for the kids and gherkins main bedroom with a wrought iron bed that is flooded with sunlight in the mornings. Sit on the balcony in the evening and watch the sun set over the Giants Castle in the Berg. Swing off the chestnut tree into the dam or dive off the jetty to refresh!

Idyllic, private, unique and organic getaway

The Cobb Lodge, built using local organic materials as a place of tranquility & reflection, is on our 2000 Ha Sherwood farm that has been in our family since the 1850s. It's a wonderful safe place where guests are invited to walk, run or cycle the many paths, bathe in the sparkling Karkloof river and tributory streams, or simply re-energise in the clean air and soak up the African sun on a working farm. The lodge is so secluded and ideal for romantic getaways, families and naturists, enjoy!

Ideally located just minutes from several wedding venues on the Midlands Meander such as Enfin Estate, Brahman Hills, The Gallery, Providence, Fordoun, Netherwood and others. Surrounded by farmlands and a beautiful view overlooking the dam you’re sure to rest well and likely be woken up to the sounds of the birds… and possibly the chickens!

Rainbows End Country Escape- Bushbuck Cottage

Our 20-hectare farm provides the peaceful surroundings needed to truly unwind. With forest walks, fully stocked trout dams, and supplied firewood for those chilly winter nights, there is something for everyone. Bushbuck cottage has a queen bed and 2 single beds, and suitable for 4 guests. However, another mattress can be put down for kids. The farm is situated 30 minutes outside of Howick, on the midlands meander. High clearance vehicles recommended on our farm roads.

Little Mount Cottage

Located in the beautiful rolling hills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Little Mount Cottage is a four bedroom period style family home that has been beautifully restored as a fully equipped, self-catering cottage with WiFi. This little countryside cottage is perfect for an out of the city, adventure or a perfectly relaxing getaway. The farm surrounds are perfect for enjoying some quality time taking long walks, mountain biking or just enjoying the farm and country life.

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Splash in the river, hike trails on the hills, or relax and braai on the verrandah. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)
