The Back Forty Solar Cottage

Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

The Cabin Barrington Tops Your Eco Place in Nature

This rustic renovated cabin adjoins the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park. Enjoy beautiful views of the majestic forest and experience the visiting wildlife; parrots, Bush turkeys, nesting Lyrebirds and the resident wallaby and her joey. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views on the wrap around verandah, play some tennis, stroll to Crystal pool for a refreshing dip in the river or explore some of the beautiful walking trails through the majestic forest. This is a very special place.

Private, peaceful wine country farmhouse

Delight in the natural beauty and tranquil rural experience of our 24 acre wine country farm. Far horizons, incredible stars, play space aplenty. With open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and wood fire, the house is fantastic for a special time away with family or friends. All rooms have views across fields, vineyards and mountains, with the huge covered verandah providing the best vantage point only occasionally obstructed by wandering kangaroos, wombats, foxes, and the local cows.

Self-contained with two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other has your choice of king or twin beds. A large living area with a slow combustion wood burning fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and electric blankets for cool winter nights. Equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave and full size fridge. There's a BBQ on your own outdoor balcony, where you can enjoy the glorious view of the sun setting over the vineyard. Oakey Creek Cottage is located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Nestled amongst the vineyards and only a 5-minute drive from wineries and restaurants. The newly renovated cottage sleeps 6 people, with all linen supplied. The cottage provides all of your basic essential needs along with TV, reverse cycle air-con, washing machine and dryer, toaster and kettle, microwave, BBQ, wood fireplace, outdoor setting and on the cold winter nights bon fire area.
