Family stay in the forest

We welcome you into our family summerhouse located on "Sandet" ("The Sand") right in between Tisvildeleje and Liseleje with both beach towns approx. a 10 minute drive away. The house is a few hundred meters from Denmark's largest lake, Arresø, where you can fish, go kayaking or watch a large variety of birds. Close by is also the forest, Tisvilde Hegn, with mountain bike trails and castle ruins. If you are looking for some peaceful family time this is the place to be.

Enjoy stunning views and two large balconies in our family friendly, cozy and spacious penthouse apartment, located close to the beach, metro and city. There is sunrise on the east-facing balcony, which also has views of the sea (Øresund), Malmö and the island Saltholm. West-facing balcony has a barbecue and cozy seating. You'll also find plenty of board games and Lego sets, perfect for families or groups of friends after a day of exploring the city.

You’ll be in the heart of the city, adjacent to the best food market, boutique shops, restaurants, and very conveniently located with public transport from the airport. Stylish yet homely, the apartment is furnished tastefully and comfortably, and it is the perfect base for you to explore Copenhagen, while also being a cozy apartment to enjoy meals or an evening at home. Despite the central location, it is calm and the bedroom is not facing the street.

You're a 10 min. drive to the coastal towns of Gilleleje and Hornbæk, a 30 min. drive to Helsingør (Elsinore) and Hamlet's Castle as well as the Louisiana Museum, and a 50 minute drive to downtown Copenhagen. The house was designed by Danish architects Friis & Moltke and build in 1970. The house is ideal for a family of two adults and two children with two in the master bedroom and two in the bunkbed room. The kitchen is fully equipped incl. dishwashing machine.
