Adirondacks Garnet Hill: pristine lake, privacy

Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

Option for third person with a cot only sleeper for an additional charge of $50 A visit to Gore mountain is just a few short minutes away drive. Private guest walking trails to the Hudson and walking path.

Gore Mountain Log Cabin Getaway

8 minutes to Gore Mountain. Perfect getaway for couples, family vacay, small sporting group, or long time friends. Log cabin located 5 mins to food & shopping. Summer offers gondola rides & short drive to lakes, fishing, boating; beautiful porch for morning coffee & lovely views. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees; the knotty pine interior was locally sourced. Friends gifted a claw foot tub and historic farm house sink.
