Kayak Cottage - solitude with river access

Recently transformed from a horse barn, Kayak Cottage now bears little resemblance to its former use - the hosts managed to retain the former barn's rustic charm while completely redesigning the structure. An eclectic mix of materials were re-purposed to create the welcoming space - both inside and out. Located on a rise above the Collins River - the river is not immediately visible but is only steps away! There is also easy access for launching kayaks or small fishing boats on the property.

This 1920 built home offers a cozy charm to enjoy the covered front porch, clawfoot tub, vinyl ready stereo system, back deck, fire pit, stocked kitchen, disc golf basket, or just curl up with a book. This tiny retreat is located in McMinnville, Tennessee and has all of the necessities all in a nice little package. We are located minutes from Rock Island State Park, Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls and Cumberland Caverns. Relaxation awaits you at this peaceful little paradise away from the hustle and bustle of daily stresses, yet the downtown and hospital are only a couple of miles away. Many restaurants, kayaking, caves, trails, fishing and boating are all in abundance in this area.

The Getaway at the Collins River Tree Farm

Very quiet, isolated, 3 BR, 2 BA cottage in the middle of a 60-acre farm surrounded by mountains and the Collins Scenic River. Very close to Cumberland Caverns Cave! Minutes to several state parks and waterfalls. Property has lots of parking and places to park boats, etc. Great place to hike, bike, fish, kayak, canoe, swim, etc. Please read the rules concerning watching children on this property! It is a working farm and near a river and smallchildren should never be unattended!

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful house with direct access to the Rocky River where all lake activities are possible. Five separate porches and decks (one screened in, one with a hot tub) allow for the family to enjoy tree tops on the water. Inside a stone fireplace, large dining room, and brand new kitchen allow for great entertainment. Four bedrooms and four baths sleep 12 people on 7 beds. This lake retreat has everything for any size family.
