The Nest, a completely self contained studio

You’ll love our place because of the comfy bed and the cosiness. It is a perfect place for one or two people with new, attractive facilities. It is a completely self contained studio on the lower level of the house with its own bathroom. If you need more space, check if Bird Song, the separate apartment next door, is available. There is a toaster, jug and mircrowave for breakfast and small meals. An iron and ironing board are available on request. You can go walking in the hills if you like.

Winter special - no cleaning fee

Distinctive, quality accommodation in a building that started life in the 1880s as a stable. A peaceful, art-filled retreat in the inner city. A new home recently built on the Petone foreshore. A short walk to shops, restaurants and cafes, Lighthouse cinema, art galleries and of course the beach. Buses close by and the train station to Wellington about 10 minutes walk. The purpose built accommodation is on the ground level with the owners living above. Guests will have their own separate entrance. The unit consists of one queen sized bedroom, kitchenette, lounge/dining room and bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

A self contained studio room on the bottom floor of our home with a private entrance and self checkin Off road parking is available. We do not have full cooking facilities but offer tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, toaster, and fridge and provide a continental style breakfast. The studio is close to the city centre and on a direct bus route. Brooklyn Village is home to restaurants. cafes, a cinema, fast food outlets and a well stocked mini market.

Our BnB is homely, a little quirky & best suited to those who travel relatively light. Self service breakfast is included. There are 2 spaces (bedroom ± separate kitchen/bathroom) a few steps apart & linked by a covered walkway. The cosy bedroom has a queen size bed, desk for work or eating, good WiFi & comfortable seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking & the bathroom has a great shower. The nook outside the bedroom is perfect for a morning coffee.
