The Bird Nest

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil log cabin hand built by my grandfather and father from cypress trees pulled straight out of the Louisiana swamps. Escape the city & enjoy the serenity of the country life. Located 15 minutes from Monticello and 25 minutes from Brookhaven. Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY!

Apartment with Loft

We absolutely love hosting!This space is an apartment built in part of a shop metal building. This was designed by and for our daughter who has since moved and so now using for Airbnb. We have 2 Twin XL beds. **One is listed as the single bed for bedroom. There was no way to list twin bed. One sofa converts to twin bed. Queen air mattress. One Queen bed. Bathroom opens to bedroom. Please note: Shower is small. There is no TV, but great WiFi. Instant boiling water spout. Coffee maker.

The Oakland

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature situated at the corner of our main property. While the home is tiny, it is cozy and the open countryside makes up for it! The rolling pastures are typical of country life with two ponds on the property and curious livestock. The small community has a Dollar General and a country store with fuel within 2 miles either direction. Closest town is 15 miles. Shiloh Baptist Church further down the road welcomes visitors every Sunday morning.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

I also have an extra full size air mattress & por-ta-crib Everything has WiFi , no cable just TVs and DVD players .. There’s 3 smart tvs 1 regular tv. They all have Roku ..

This tiny home sits on the Bogue Chitto River on 32 acres. There is fishing, kayaking and nature trails. Great retreat to get away from life's stress. Shopping mall and a few restaurants within 15 minutes. There are multiple cabins on this property so the property is shared. There is no shooting or ATV’s allowed on the property. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLES ON THE TRAILS EITHER!
